By now, you’ve probably heard about Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s latest proposal to ban the sale of large sodas and other sugary beverages in his crusade against obesity in New York City. But in case you haven’t, a quick recap: the city plans on prohibiting the sale of sugary drinks served in containers larger than 16 ounces in restaurants, concession stands, and movie theaters. What are your thoughts on the issue? Is this a good way to push back obesity or has the government gone too far? Sound off on the soda controversy below.
