If you're still mourning the end of the Olympics, you're in luck. The Paralympic Games kick off today, and promise to offer a whole new array of athletic feats and tales of triumph. You can stream all of the events live at Paralympic.org.
We're excited to see what Oscar Pistorius--the South African double amputee who competed in the able-bodied games--can do in the 100, 200, and 400 races. We've also got our eye on U.S. sprinter April Holmes. Holmes lost one of her legs in a train accident in 2001, and since then has become one of the most formidable paralympic runners around. Check out her story below!
