As editors, we spend most of our time immersed in diet, nutrition, and fitness information, but we're far from perfect. Just like you, we want to use 2013 as a fresh start for our best, healthiest year yet. So we're laying out our fitness resolutions. Here they are--hold us to them!

Danielle Kosecki, Associate Editor: "I don’t usually make resolutions, but my fitness goal for 2013 is to finally upgrade to category 2 road bike racer."

David L’Heureux (Laroo), Senior Editor: "Stop cheating! In the gym, on the road, and especially in the kitchen. No more bailing on that last set, cutting rides and runs short, and raiding the snack cabinet after hours. This year I'm going to finish everything (except that pint of Ben and Jerry's in the freezer)."

Christine Mattheis, Editor: "In 2013, I resolve to try at least one new group fitness class a month. It'll help me fight boredom and prevent plateauing. Plus, I'll be making better use of my gym membership if I take advantage of all the facility has to offer."

Jenny Moncayo, Assistant Editor: "My 2013 resolution is to attend yoga class once a week. I need some Zen in my life."

Jennifer Perry, Video Editor: "To eat more dark, leafy greens."

Mary Squillace, Associate Editor: "I'm good about doing cardio and yoga, but I really slack on strength training--even though I know how good it is for me. In 2013 I'm going to strength train once a week."

Darcy Strobel, Associate Photo Editor: "One of my resolutions every year is to have better posture. I maintain this resolution by regularly going to yoga."
