30-Degree Lat Pulldown for Women
30-Degree Lat Pulldown
- Sit down in a lat pulldown machine and grab the bar with a shoulder-width, underhand grip. Lean back until your body forms a 30-degree angle with the floor. Hold this position for the entire exercise.
- Without moving your torso, pull the bar down to your chest. Pause, then slowly return to the starting position.
Tip Leaning back increases the involvement of your middle and upper back muscles and decreases the demand on your lats.
This move has been excerpted from The Women's Health Big Book of Exercises by Adam Campbell.
This Move Works:
Biceps, Upper Back
