- Grip dumbbell end with both hands, arms down. Bend at hips, lower torso about 45 degrees, and let dumbbell swing between legs. Knees bend slightly.
- Then thrust hips forward, straighten legs, and swing dumbbell up to shoulder level, arms straight.
