Lat Pulldown for Women

Lat Pulldown

  1. Sit down in a lat pulldown station and grab the bar with an overhand grip that's just beyond shoulder width.
  2. Without moving your torso, pull the bar down to your chest as you continue to squeeze your shoulder blades. Pause, then slowly return to the starting position.

Tip Initiate the movement by pulling your shoulders back and down. Don't lean back to pull the bar to your chest; your upper body should remain in nearly the same position from start to finish.
