Single-Leg Bent-Knee Calf Raise for Men

Single-Leg Bent-Knee Calf Raise

  1. Grab a dumbbell in your right hand and stand on a step, block, or 25-pound weight plate. Cross your left foot behind your right ankle, and balance yourself on the ball of your right foot, with you right heel on the floor or hanging off a step. Bend your knee, and hold it that way as you perform the exercise.
  2. Rise up on your toes as high as you can. Pause, then slowly lower back to the starting position.
