Michael Phelps made headlines four years ago at the Olympics for his reported 12,000 calorie a day diet. While the number is eye-popping, all elite athletes burn through a lot of fuel and pay as much attention to food as they do their fitness regimen. With that in mind, we asked 10 members of Team USA to give us the inside scoop on their pre-competition dining rituals and what they eat for performance.
