Nearly three-quarters of children between the ages of 5 and 10 get less than the recommended hour of physical activity per day, according to a YMCA study. Ensuring your kids exercise an adequate amount is tough enough during the school year when phys ed classes and youth sports are in session, and it’s even harder when they’re home on summer break. One way to tear them away from the TV: sign them up for one of these fitness classes.
