Add some definition to your arms with this sequence that also works your shoulders, upper back, and chest. Beginners should feel comfortable trying the Plank, Side Plank, Down Dog, and Forearm Stand Prep poses. While the Down Dog Split may pose a challenge to some, the Crow and Side Crow will definitely take practice. Feel free to shake out your arms between moves. And remember to take long deep breaths. The moves are harder to complete if you clench your body. You can build up to more difficult poses by practicing basic ones like the Plank, which require you to lift your stomach in and up, the same action needed in the Crow. Stay in each pose for 5 deep inhales and exhales (unless otherwise noted).
